Croxton's is an independent kitchen and tap house.
We are an independent Kitchen & Tap House located in the heart of Southsea. Our name comes from Thomas Croxton, who built the first houses in the area, circa 1809. The area subsequently became known as Croxton Town, but in 1857 the town’s name was changed to Southsea, after King Henry’s Southsea Castle.
Located in the old Southsea Post Office we serve the choicest beer, wine and spirits, along with award winning food inspired by our travels from around the world. Our Sunday lunch was awarded best in the region after a national search held by Unilever Food Solutions.
